Gleneagles Townhouse

The Gleneagles Townhouse project saw the transformation of a listed historic building in the heart of Edinburgh into a luxury hospitality venue. The refurbishment and extension required a careful balance between preserving period character and delivering high-end contemporary finishes across guest rooms, public areas, and hospitality spaces.

JPM was part of the wider management team, supporting on-site coordination and logistics throughout the build. Working alongside heritage consultants, specialist trades, and the lead project team, we helped ensure that all interventions were sensitive to the building’s original features while meeting modern expectations.

The city centre location presented logistical challenges, including restricted access, tight storage, and the need to minimise disruption to neighbouring properties. JPM contributed to managing these complexities — coordinating deliveries, sequencing trades, and maintaining strong site safety standards.

The result is a refined, character-rich destination that honours the building’s heritage — and we’re proud to have played a role in its successful delivery.

Rosebank Distillery

The Rosebank Distillery project involved the extensive restoration and fit-out of one of Scotland’s most iconic and historic whisky distilleries. Known for its rich heritage and unique architectural character, this project required a delicate balance between preserving original features and integrating large areas of newbuild modern construction.

JPM played a key role in managing the complexities of working with a listed industrial building, coordinating specialist trades skilled in traditional craftsmanship alongside modern contractors. The project demanded close collaboration with heritage consultants to ensure that all restoration work met stringent conservation requirements without compromising operational functionality.

The careful integration of new infrastructure, production equipment, and visitor facilities has revitalized the distillery, positioning it to meet contemporary production needs and offer a world-class visitor experience.
